Eric Zerkel
Born in San Francisco and raised in Hawaii, Eric Alexander Zerkel is a visual artist whose creative journey spans both coasts and several disciplines. He earned his B.F.A. in Visual Communication on full scholarship from both the California Institute of the Arts and Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design.
Zerkel began his career as a Walt Disney Imagineer, designing for theme parks, before transitioning into motion picture advertising, where he quickly rose to become one of Los Angeles’ leading art directors and digital imagers.
As a fine artist, Eric’s work has appeared in numerous exhibitions and galleries throughout Santa Fe, NM, including True West, POP Gallery, and Tortuga Gallery. His paintings reside in private collections around the globe.
Eric accepts commissions on a wide range of subjects, including portraiture, and welcomes custom requests.
